Farewell to the Director General of the Department of Health Services
Kathmandu—A farewell ceremony was held for Dr. Tanka Barakoti, Director General of the Department of Health Services. The farewell took place in the presence of the Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Sudha Gautam.
Dr. Barakoti had earlier submitted his resignation, citing health and family reasons. He had assumed the responsibilities of Director General in Falgun and served at the department for about nine months.
