Health Minister Dr. Gautam Visits the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission
Kathmandu—Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Sharma Gautam visited the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) in New Delhi while attending the Second WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine in India.
During the visit, Minister Gautam inspected the Commission’s state-of-the-art laboratories and discussed India’s pharmaceutical regulatory framework and operational practices with IPC officials.
The discussion also focused on identifying areas of technical collaboration required to strengthen Nepal’s National Medicines Laboratory and upgrade the Department of Drug Administration to achieve Maturity Level 3 in line with international standards.
