Kathmandu— Two positions for Additional Secretary (Level 12) at the Ministry of Health and Population are currently vacant.

Three names have already been recommended for these vacant posts. The Cabinet meeting will select two individuals from the three recommended candidates to be appointed as additional secretaries. A Cabinet meeting is currently underway today, Monday, at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. It is expected that the meeting will appoint two additional secretaries for the health sector.

The three recommended candidates for the two posts are Dr. Keshar Bahadur Dhakal, Dr. Shreekrishna Shrestha, and Dr. Sudha Devkota. Out of 24 applicants for the position, one withdrew their application. From the remaining 23, the promotion committee shortlisted and recommended three candidates.

The committee had issued a public notice on Chaitra 6, calling for applications with a 15-day submission period.
